Hi,

Any plan to enable volte and vowifi?

Any date?

Any plan when telenor will implement this in their budget carrier named vimla?

For me as a subscriber may be time to look at other alternative.

Hey there,

As far as I can see in the forum and from the officials, there isn’t any official plans for having those features in Vimla quite yet. It has been a long wanted feature from the users but you might be waiting longer to have those activated in the network.

You can check how it has been going on for this matter here i.e.

I would believe no VoLTE untill the 3G would be faced out, that is when the 5G start grow strong. How far away is that? Hard to say, 2 - 5 years is a reasonable guess.

As said for me from next month no more. I want to have a simple thing, check mms or use data while in a call - volte. So, hejdå!!!

Most major operators offer VoLTE, that's one reason to keep price up vs. budget operators. One other reason is support.

Although you might consider that you may surf the web with your data plan while you’re in a call. It’s just that it will be limited to 3G (depending on where you are and the coverage, it might not be that much of difference).

@Arm1n

Do not give wrong information.

Your method works only when you put the sim card in 3g mode only.

It never works when you activated 4g for the sim card in your mobile options.

Try it yourself next time.

@Shariful Hoque  I’m sorry but I didn’t intend to mislead you or anyone.

It was matter of fact one of the first things I was concerned about and tested right away.

Maybe it’s me but I’ve been using my iPhone 5s, activated 4G network, made a call and while I were on a call, I noticed the network changes from 4G to 3G and the surfing becomes possible.

Not sure why my experience differs from yours though..
